Rolling In the Deep

Today was one of those days that just catches you by surprise and have to stop and ask yourself, Am I even awake because this all feels like a dream. I was tempted to revert back to my old yet familiar ways of never finishing anything, but I decided that maybe just maybe by my sharing my world with essentially the world that maybe I can help someone be a better person. Yesterday I was wondering how to find happiness. Today my only concern is staying alive. It is very easy to die. Sounds funny I know but several of you die everyday without even knowing it! When I reminisce on my life, I would like to see where I began, where I failed, where I overcame an obstacle, and where I succeeded at. I have steadily making subtle attempts at removing pieces from my puzzle that do not belong. This brings me to my point.
Those close to me will not what I mean when I mention a technology free day. Well I lost my phone and as far as I'm concerned that phone is enough distraction for a lifetime. That's probably why its a "smartphone." Just a few hours after losing my life, I realized... there is so much other shit to do and things to think about besides and app. I have been a slave to my phone for too long. Many of you are slaves as well. Losing that phone turned my brain back on. I sometimes sit and wonder what did I used to do before the "cell phone era." And today I figured it out. I lived my life. As of right now, I am not longer accessible. If I serve a purpose in your life or anyone's life you will know how to find me. The world needs more real interaction and less theories on what a real interaction is. I do not have a question for the day, I just you took read this and realize that we are all slaves to something and unless you can identify what it is, you will never be free.

  1. I couldnt agree more.Technology need to go back to the basic.Telephones should be used to check up on someone you care about or rely a quick message.Cell phones should be used for emergencies.Computers should be used to learn.Cameras should be used to capture unforgettable moments.Tv shouldnt be filled with so much reality shows that you forget you're living a life that no one is worried about watching on tv.Yeah african americans might not be enslaved as they once were decades ago,but take a closer look technology is doing a helluva job trying.
